consequences of my actions

I have been working as a C.N.A. since after I had my baby and what I was unaware of is this job requires a background check which makes sense since I am in charge of taking care of the elderly. I talked with some of the people in the background department and sent them my court documents to see if I would be able to still work in this field and from what they told me I really thought I would. Then I actually completed the official background check, as it turns out the charges I have come with a five years suspension before I can work as a C.N.A. again. Honestly I don't want to be a C.N.A. in five years. On paper I understand ya you don't want me taking care of your mom or grandma but in person I dare say there would be few who after actually meeting me would take issue with it. I am lucky enough to have had a back up job as a server but was pretty disappointed all the same.
